I am hoping someone has had this problem. I got my 51 3100 with 216 out on the road for the first time and it ran fine then sputtered and quit. I put a clear inline filter up near the carb and it was empty. I went home for gas and when I got back I put some in tank and primed the carb. As soon as it turned over it started pumping gas thru the filter, it cranked ahile then started, I made it a half mile and it quit again, filter was empty again. I noticed the intake below carb was very hot,and the carb base was cold and sweating. Pump is new, and I have the vacuum line to wipers pluged, sprayed carb cleaner when running and no vacuum leaks. What do you guys think?
