'Tater will do 60 on level ground, and that's with a bone stock 270ci L6, SM-420, 8.5:1 (in high), on 8.25x20 wheels. I try to keep her around 55 so I dont start ejecting random parts. :P
Had my old 3/4 ton runnin 16.5" wheels and a 5.3ish:1 rear end that would roll at 80 all day long without issue. RPM's were up around 5K, but it was a 327 V8 pushing thru a 4-speed car trans.

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just MY opinion! :P
