I collect old kero lanterns and the like and found a good smudge pot on eBay. It uses the same type wick as those cheapo tiki torches, so finding new wicks is a breeze. You can use kero or parafin lamp oil in them to keep the stink down.
There are a couple places making brand new pots from the same old design as well, but I find the Dietz & Toledo pots on there regularly. As a matter of fact, I did a search for "road flare" and found five sets of pots with cases, 3 were the type that mount directly to a surface, one of the 3 was even a NOS set of 3 Grote pots.

Another fun toy I picked up is a kerosene engine block heater. Has a wick inside a screen that hangs under the engine on a wire handle to heat up the oil. I dont have the hadle but it didat least come with the storage/damper cover and original paint and label.

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
