An under-the-hood difference, also caused by material shortages, was a reduction in radiator size. The radiator core in Series 3100 and 3600 trucks was shortened 1 31/32 inches and the air cells were spaced farther apart. The cooling capacity remained the same, however, at 15 quarts.
