Hey guys!
I just bought a 1940 GMC 3/4 ton pickup. It's mostly original and even has most of the original paint. The truck was originally from the gold fields in Alaska and is a true survivor. It's basically rust -free (just surface rust) and is all in pieces. The gentleman I purchased the truck from was collecting parts for it for the last 20 years.
My goal is, on a limited budget, to keep the patina but bring back the interior and get it running, he gave me a vintage Chevy 216 ^ (the original 228 is seized) and restore it back to maybe "50's Hot Rod/ Rat rod. It's got 18 inch artillery wheels, (need rubber)
