...I come to that process with a strong bias against Diesel but every forum I find that addresses the topic seems very Diesel centric....
Maybe this community is smaller than I think, its possible its just me...
It's beginning to sound like you and a very few others are interested in a serious gas powered work truck.
I'm all for helping if I can even though I don't share your passion for gas engines I do know they work and can work well.
Diesel seems to be the most popular and I think often the best answer these days, must be something to it if you're having a difficult time finding other interested gas guys.
Honestly, you and my neighbor are the only folks I can think of that would prefer a big gas engine over a diesel in a working truck. My neighbor hauls a trailer to FL and back every week with a newish 8.something GM V8 and an Allison. I haven't talked to him about diesels much, but from his talking about gas engines I'm sure there is no use mentioning diesels...
