Original trucks are great but sometimes not practical. Changing the rear gears is probably the least noticable but whatever you choose would not match the build sheet. I make changes to my vehicles based on practicality, safety, and my personal preferences. 3 speed OD's were available for 63's but would require a driveshaft modification. I guarantee you it would be more driveable and get better mileage.
