The preferred method we use at work is the hot air gun,glass cleaner and a fresh new razor blade to remove the glue residue.
Just a point though,if your glass is laminated,don't overheat the glass too much,or burn your fingers!
Depending on the quality of the tint it is possible and if you don't pull too hard,the film and adhesive will virtually come off intact.
