After getting great advice from Kip (Kip's 41). I too used my 216 intake/exhaust/carb setup on a 235. I was able to use the 235 locater rings with a little 'homegrown' porting.
Worked like a champ. The 216 is '46 and the 235 a '53. I did it because the 235 I bought had none of this and the 216 intake/exhaust were powdercoated (see photo) and in my possession. grin
