good point old sub. im running stock size 63 chevy truck wheels/tires. 15inch 7wide... forget the heigth... same as the front. I assume the rear end is the stock from the 79 caprice because the rear drum brakes are as well, had to play the guessing game on searching for replacement brake cylinders). after i insulated the cab with peel & seal and double foil bubble wrap its much quiter now and not seeming so bad. the part im still a little concerned about is shifting into 3rd at 35-45mph... is that ok or normal? if not how do I go about changing w/o a shift kit? somethign with the vacuum to the trans??? planning on a new tach install this weekend and that should show me whats really going on and put my mind at ease hopefully.
