As luck would have it, I just ran into the same problem and solution. In trying to get the dipstick tube off of the block for a rebuild, I ended up mangling the tube to the point where I could not re-use it. I drove over to a nearby Autozone with the existing tube in hand and found that the accessory chrome dipstick and tube fits in the block. I cut them both down to factory lengths and marked the fill lines with a chisel. Presto, chrome dipstick and tube.
