For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 25 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 25 | thanks JiMerit and OldSub on the info. I am looking to do away with the torque tube and all. I am running a 235. What would be nice if i could keep my column shifter, have open drive line, a higher gear for better speeds and 5 lugs. Ha Is this possible? or am i dreaming?
Ive got access to a 66 chevelle 4 door with a straight six in it. Its got 3 speed on the column i believe. dont know what size the motor is though. Would the drivetrain bolt up to my 235 i wonder? I will be searching on here for more info.
