Do you want to haul loads with this truck? The 216 has limited power and if you are always empty something like 3.55 is probably fine.
If you plan to haul loads you're going to find the 4.10 more workable.... If you can find one.
I bought a '48 1-ton a few years ago that had 3.42 gears and was for sale because the 216 didn't have enough power to carry a load. A little more extreme than your example but worth thinking about.
