depends on just what ya mean Chet, when you momentarily 'goose' it, the vacuum advance moves the distributor, when you hold a steady higher RPM it stops moving, the advance has to do with acceleration not steady speed - no "nice, smooth, fluid" changes in vacuum when you "rev it"
