Chuck, the other beauty of urethane as opposed to silicone is unless you use the appropriate primer,it can be peeled off paintwork/trims after it dries.
Hence the reason I prefer it.
It's also paintshop 'friendly'
One downside is it contains Isocyanates so gloves are a must!

I'm glad you seem to have the problem licked though.
