Classic Performance Products actually makes a kit that will "automatically" do this for you. The perches have offset holes in them so the axle is automatically center in the wheel opening. No spring to reverse, no alignment problems. Included in the kit are the perches, "U" bolts, bottom plates with shock attachment points and upper shock attachment plates. It's in their ad on page 34 half way down the right side of the page of the brand new copy of Custom Classic Trucks magazine.
