Hello to all the forum members. I have been surfing this site a some others for a while now. I have found that there is a bit more info here then on the other sites. And the members here seem to be more helpful and rsspond to the threads more. I built a replica car on a Chevette drive train last summer so my wife and I picked up this 60 Apache a few weeks ago for a new project. It is kinda ugly but has a solid cab and frame so I think I can get it back in shape. It has the original 235 with the 3 speed. I drove it home but it was showing low oil preasure at idle. The next day I tinkered with it some and found a bearing cap and 2 bearings in the oil pan. Looks like the cap came loose. So my next step is to replace main and rod bearings and see what happens. I have worked on other engines in the past but never a 235. The good thing is that the 235 appears to be fairly easy to work on. I would post some pics but haven't figured that out yet
