Mine is like the blue AC filter, I was under the impression that it was between thew hon mounting and the carb, I didn't realize that it went passed it, what is misleading on mine is there are two bumps on the carb side of the horn mount I thought that that was for a rest for the filter bracket to bump against,I didn't see them on your picture, I'll try to get pictures up.
