Additional information that caused me to ask this question: When I jack up the truck from the center of the rear differential the left-side will come up 6-8 inches before the right-side tire gets off the ground. I have tried this in the driveway and in the garage where I'm sure the surface is level enough to not make a difference. I have not seen this on any truck or car before. In addition, when I go through a dip in the road the rear suspension gets the vehicle into 'white knuckle' mode. Really have to slow down. So, I'm thinking must be shocks because the rest of the suspension looks OK. If I cannot replace these lever-action shocks is there any servicing I can perform to make them work better?
