Do you know what RPO 227 is? The JC suffix supposedly was also used with RPO 227 in lower series trucks (3100, 3200, 3600, & 3800)?
It looks like RPO 227 was a heavy duty 11" clutch available on the 235 trucks up through 1959. In 1960 RPO 223 was the truck heavy duty clutch option and RPO 227 was the car 235 heavy duty clutch option.
