My Rear Fender Welting Job Click Here I used fender welting on the rear fenders before I read threads on here that none was used on AD trucks from the factory. I cut the welting on angles at the various points where it makes a bend around the fender. I bought a magnet set and a clip set from Harbor Freight for around 15 bucks I think it was. I pre staged the welting and made any trims and cuts to make sure it laid flat on a dry run. I used Super Weather Strip adhesive on the leading edge of the fender and the opposite edge of the welting to create a dual bonding fit. You will have about 4 or 5 minutes to make adjustments to the placement once you start. Do as much work before you start to make it a smooth install as possible. I currently have to get some super weather strip remover to clean up small smudges on the front side of the fender, but all in all I think the look actually came out pretty good considering it never had it originally.
