I did drive a peterbuilt COE for about a year for a guy. I hauled on average 45,000 pounds. without the weight. they are a little bouncy being so short. Now, the other fact is that I own a 53 GMC COE which is much smaller in overall size. but, It is the same when it comes to driving just because the short frame. Now, If you buy one that is a Med or Long chassis they are more stable and it sounds like this is what you are looking for with a long bed. They are nice being that you sit higher than a reg. truck. They have a cool factor as there are not many around. and the ones you see are highly modified by a engine swap and the cabs have been extended for space or they make it a crew cab. but, it is up to you what you want.

My truck is a factory deluxe cab. being a short chassis called a tractor model. I will have a bed installed and have it set up to pull a 5th wheel or a standard trailer.

either way you go. They are Major Cool. and everyone will stop to take a look at a COE over a standard cab.

When was the last time you were at a car show and one was there?
