heres my question, Im putting in a 65 292 with saginaw 4 speed and open driveline, I was told by several sources to get a cross member from a 54 so all will bolt up,, the 54 cross member is like 3 inches longer than the original,, am I missing something was I suppose to cut it up to fit,, looking for input,,
