I have a side/up draft Tillotson soaking in my Berrymans carb cleaner right now. In researching them I have found them on all kinds of engines, mostly tractors and the occasional early Ford. Info and parts are a bit of a bear tho. Seem to be real solid units, simple & functional.
The one I have is still really tight and everything in good order, just sat in a barn for half a century and needed to be cleaned out. I'd bet good money it'll work fine when the next owner hooks it up.

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just MY opinion! :P
