On the AD models, the overload springs were an RPO on 1 ton and above. That said, I have overload springs on my 53 3/4 ton. When examined closely, these were not factory installed. The stops on the frame were bolted on, not riveted as the RPO overloads were. I suspect mine were a dealer installed option.
