I have a 70 C20 that I am using for parts to upgrade my 67 short bed stepside C10.

Does anyone know if I can use the master cylinder and power brake booster from the C20 on the C10? Do I need to upgrade the wheel cylinders or other parts of the brake system?

I'm also putting the Turbo 400 from the C20 in place of the three speed manual and using the steering column and from the C20. Any advice on the tranny swap and steering column swap?

The C10 has a 292 with only 125K miles and has never been rebuilt. I'm considering replacing it with the 402 from the C20. If it was a small block 400 it would be a now brainer and I would swap engines too. I'm not sure I want to put the big block in. I know putting the big block in requires a putting in big block springs and I'm not sure I'm want to do that and that brings another question. If I decide to swap out the engines, will the C20 big block front springs fit on the C10?
