| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | The control valve kit is available from most speed shops and consists of small rings and a holding device to dissasemble & reassemble the valve. The last one I got was produced by Bill's Hot Rod.
Remove the 1" fitting that backs up the hose connection on the lower rear of the pump. Inside you will find a control valve and a spring. The instructions list the different pressures as regulated by the number of rings installed. I'm not sure what pressure is required for a Dodge. Ford and Toyota operate on about 900psi. The factory GM pump produces about 1300psi. You could cause some problems with too much pressure. I know on Mustang II racks they tend to react too fast and are kind of squirrely to drive.
