I was going to try the bondo or epoxy method on my old one. Most of these wheels are made up of layers of paint. I think with some sanding, 3-4 thin layers of paint and 3-4 layers of clear (wet sanding in between) it would look nice.
Figured out I way over paid for that Buick wheel ($100). I guess it will make nice wall art:)
