I know that these old transmissions tend to make a lot of noise but this is something new. It's making a moaning noise when I decelerate. It stops if I push in the clutch. I have checked the fulid level and everything else seems to be working perfectly. Is this the trans or maybe the U-joint. I'm not sure what a bad U-joint sounds like. What should I check? Is this going to damage the trans? Thanks George p.s. This trans has been rebuilt, new bearings and every thing. All the gears looked good when I put it back together. | | |
