I see you all are from the "warm" part of our great nation. I'm hard up on the northern border on the high desert side of the Cascades. I need CHOKE on both! As for the chokes not being in a straight line, they are. On the Rochester's, the choke linkage is perpendicular to the Offenhauser intake manifold. So what I need is a split manual choke system to run BOTH carbs. Is there such a thing??? If not, I will build a "Jerry" rig something. I find it odd that a split cable isn't out there w/o having to build one from scratch!
