Had a 1950 3100 for several years and got it back on the road in near stock condition. It was just taking more time and eventual money than I could afford at the time with 3 kids and owning a business along with being a high school teacher. So I sold it 2 years ago.
Two weeks ago, the guy I sold it to was moving to Tennessee and could take the truck, so I bought it back (for a fraction of what I sold it for)from him. He was thankful as he didn't have the time or place to keep it. Funny how things come back like that. Fortunetaly,I am in a better position to work on it now, and my son, who is now driving, has an added interest in it! Especially since all his friends come over and think it is the coolest pickup EVER!
