Hi, i had the same problem but it was with the Fenton intake with dual carbs. I rotated the shifter gearbox slightly towards the drivers side(had to file off the small locating pin under the shifter gearbox)retorqued the bolts for the gearbox and it remained in place. Then did some minor re-adjusting of the linkage and could shift without any interference between intake and linkage. Hope this helps
