The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Speedo Cable Hook-Up

I've tried to attatch the cable to the trannie many times. Unfortunatly, the only successful part of this is the screwing on of the cable. I would sware that something right inside the trannie that sends the spin through the cable is broken. The tip of the cable is find, but I believe the femal end in the trannie is worn. Is this common and is there a way to repair it?
