50GMC253 'Bolter 5 Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 627 Tyner, NC	The 261 has a higher lift cam, valve guide heights above head surfaces are spec'd higher, and the spring tension is higher. Is it truly fine and dandy to put the 235 head on a 261 block without changing these items? Mike Barnes 1950 GMC 1-ton pickup
