I agree a blockage , story , when I was frist married we didn't have alot of money so one of my Dads freinds offered us his old car for 100.00 nice old big boat ,had the same problem he told us before we bought it but I thought it was the gas filter in the carb ,remember those?Got it home and changed the filter nothing changed so I started at the tank and checked out the gas line got to the front of the motor and the gas line was run behind the water pump so I pulled up on the line and there was a inline filter some one had installed years ago changed that and it ran like a top.I quess what I'm saying is go over the fuel sys.front to back..
