Okay, I own a 1949 3100 parts truck and a 1950 3100 fixer-upper... Both have the same spare tire mount which is behind the rear axle. It appears to be a slide rail of some type. It is on and angle. It looks like you would have something connected to the wheel, then slide it up inside this rail. then fasten it down? My factor assembly manual and shop manual both show something other than what I have. does anyone have info on how I'm to put a spare on?
