Trucks did not come with a Powerglide option.
All truck 235s came with solid lifters.
Post the engine serial number (found in the ledge to the left of where the distributor enters the block). That code should indicate if engine was originally installed in a Powerglide Automobile and/or confirm the year. All car engines in 1962 came with hydraulic lifters.
While someone might have changed-out the hydraulic lifter/cam over the years, that is unlikely. However, the only 100% certain ID of the lifters is to pull one.
SURE SHIFTS LIKE AN AUTOMATIC :-) Can't seem to find the Clutch Pedal.
They did come with Powerglides, mine is the Cast Iron PG
