I will post tomorrow a FelPro and/or NAPA part number for the u-joint ball/bell-housing gasket and seal set. Jim Carter & Classic Parts of America (Chevy Duty) also sell these sets.
Also, I will check the shop manual about the shellac. If shellac is used, it must be used on the collar edge, not the bevelled/curved edge that slides on the ball/bell. The ball/bell slides up and down on the bell edge of the cork gasket (as the rear end and rear springs go up and down).
