Lucky, the problem is you calling them "driving" lights, the main lights are the "driving" lights, the others are actually called parking lights, only meant to be on when NOT driving wink

if you want the lights to be like the "modern" setup, it's simple to add a wire to change them to be on all the time - see here, and note then they'd be called running lights
