Jon, assuming you can't feel the scratches too much with your finger nail,you may be able to reduce the scuffing with a fine cutting compound.
What are your goals? Is it originality,or cost effectiveness?
I assume the glass you're referring to is in one of your trucks.
Bear in mind glass for ADs is relatively cheap,so it all depends on how much you value your own time and labor.
It can take considerable time and patience to polish glass and depending on how deep the scratches are will determine the final result.
You can reach a stage where you get distortion at the areas that are polished due to the amount of glass removed.
Laminated glass is by far the easiest to polish on account of its relative 'softness'.
I suppose as a 'glass guy' my choice would be obvious,but the final decision would ultimately be yours.
