12 clips total.Mine has 8 metal clips - 6 across the top 1 on either side pillar. On the bottom is 4 wire clips - 1 on either side of the defrost vent . The wire clips have some spongy rubber molded on to them.I imagine the spongy rubber clips are to keep the defrost air from escaping around the inside of the trim.These are original and I have no idea where to get replacements. 52 GMC .
