I've been scrubbing numbers and researching for days trying to figure out what year the 235 in my '52 3800 is...I think I kinda got it. Enough to at least get the right stuff so I can attempt to fire it up for the first time. Can y'all double check my #'s and tell me what ya think?

Lets see if I've got this right...
-Dizzy side of block above the starter reads: B184...That means Feb. 18th 1954 right?
-Big ol' series on machined ledge behind the dizzy reads: 03395I5E54Z...This has gotten me kinda confused. The "54Z" according to my research says it's a '54 block designated as regular (or something like that). I've got no clue about the rest of 'em.
-Drive side of head has 383 7161 GM1 up above the intake. I haven't got a clue what that means as I haven't found a # like that listed.
-Dizzy side towards the front reads B36 913 241 570...Again no clue...

So...Did I get the block ID right? What about the head? Any clues?

On another note...
After reading a kajillion articles and posts I've learned something new...I've gotta get myself a 261 block with a 235 head (ending w/prefix 848). Split headers to duels out back and a split intake with a couple singles perched there. Probably have to dress it up a bit with a nice finned valve cover too. Saw some awesome fuel injection on this site that got me thinkin' some pretty crazy stuff...
Nah...I'll keep my carbs, points and all 6 of my volts.

Cheers!
