Unfortunately the windsheild is installed. That would explain the difficulty. I can't imagine how you would get windsheild in with the crome on it but I guess once you put the rubber seal on the glass you could install chrome then. I hate to cut out a brand new seal and start over. I already paid the guy $200.00 to install the front and back glass. It was worth it for the big back window.
