Born Lucky, I have a 63 C20 with the same tires, and a 4.10 HO52. At 65 mph I'm doing about 3300 rpm. Even with a 10' overhead camper I was able to push 65 and better, only passing of course.
tyler h, the final drive for the sm465 is 1:1, and any other transmission, if you don't count the over drive as "final drive". I don't remember what the over drive is for a 700R4, but in general they very from 20-30%, or 1:1.2-1.3.
