I need to change the gas tank sending unit, but checking websites, they offer with and without venting. I noticed that the one installed on my truck, has and "L" tube that goes out of the flange. Is this the venting. The truck has the fuel line to the pump connected to this vent. Is it how it is supposed to be. If I buy a non venting sending unit, I don't see where to get the hoses to the pump. I noticed also that the tank has a small hole in the bottom, mine is plugged. Is this hole for the hose to the pump or the one on the sending unit. I'm really puzzled.
