| | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 124 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 124 | i need a oil pump pickup tube for my 54 235. i found a couple at a scrap yard but they are pretty nasty looking. i'd rather use a nice clean one in my newly rebuilt motor.
i have not been able to find a new one on the "innertube" or at my local auto parts store.
has anyone found a pickup tube from a different application that works?
has anyone fabricated there own out of a new oil pump pickup tube from a different application? i figured i could dice up a new one and cut some threads on it so it would mount to the pump and its sae threads.
a source for a new '54 oil pickup would work too.;) | | |
