Standard chevy bellhousing with a 1 inch thick adapter. Do a search on this site for the NV4500, there is lots of info on the swap. If you are still confused... pm me. I put one of these in my 1959 gmc 1/2 ton longbed behind a well built pontiac v8. this swap will move the shifter back 6 inches compared with the stock 4 speed. The GMC v8 sits about 4 inches forward of where the chevy v8 sits, so check to see if you have clearance with your seat.
