Hy hb32, does the shift linkage not want to "drop" down into the 2nd 3rd shift part of the pattern, do you have to push it out of 1st reverse part of the pattern, or do you have to fish around to find the 2nd 3rd gate. I would start by adjusting everything to make sure everything is lined up as it should be, hope that helps.
Nope just seems to be going through neutral. Going to disconnect the transmission rods and see what happens.
