LONGBOX55 'Bolter L Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 DANVILLE IL	1/2 tons have 6 lug wheels, 3/4 ton are 8 lug. The 1/2 ton also has a completly enclosed driveline on that body style, 3/4 ton are enclosed to the carrier bearing, then open to the rear axle, which is also much larger than 1/2 ton.
