Fenderless rods with OEM IFS usually don't look very good. Those are code words for ugly.

A fenderless rod should either have a straight axle which looks traditional, or an IFS that looks like it came off a championship or F-1 race car.

These of course are just my opinions, but my advice would be that you drop the S-10 idea and either rebuild the stock or look at much more sophisticated IFS possibilities.
